Sigmund Freud

Who is an Austrian neurologist of Jewish origin, the father of psychoanalysis and one of the greatest intellectual figures of the 20th century. He worked in a private clinic to treat hysteria using hypnotherapy, but later developed 'free association' and dream interpretation. Freud was born in 1856 in Príbor, in what is now the Czech Republic. A few years later they moved to Vienna, where he would live most of his life and at whose faculty, despite his family's financial difficulties, he began to study medicine.

I like him because the willpower he had to prove he was right is awesome. At least I could notice the amount of people who opposed to Freud in the serie that was on Netflix, where I also realized how incredible his mind is despite being addicted to cocaine.

In addition, I find the theory of psychoanalysis very interesting and ingenious for the time when many things were still censored out of modesty, as is the case of a text that writes about " character and anal eroticism."

    I like Freud too! I think that his theory is very interesting. I read "Civilizations and its discontents" and I hope read "The interpretation of dreams" someday.

    I have heard bad comments about him and his theory. But clearly he was a great contribution to psychoanalysis. I would like to know more about that

    Ohh! I really find Freud's theory of psychoanalysis interesting. I have read parts of some of his works mostly for the university, but I would like to read more of his works.

  My favorite piece of technology is my iPad,  It is a tablet that allows you to do the same functions as the computer and read more comfortably on a screen. I like it because It is very comfortable to carry because it is light. , besides that it is like a giant cell phone where you can put very nice covers I got this device when I entered at the university, which allowed me to keep up with the virtual classes. I use it to read books on a screen and chek faster the emails. I used it every day , It’s very use full to study . Without this piece of technology, It would cost me much more to be able to read and stand out at the same time, add that many emails could not be seen instantly.

Why did I choose my career?

 Psychologist My dream when I was a child, was to work in a hotel, because I thought they had everything free. When the time came to definitely choose what I wanted, I was choosing to be kindergarten or social work. But as time went by, I realized the interest I had in the brain and how it worked, as well as being able to constantly help people to get ahead.   I feel that the experience has been traumatic because I only know the academic field and nothing else, and knowing that going to university is one of the moments that one remembers the most is a bit disappointing. I would like to work constantly analyzing people through questionnaires or perhaps simply something that constantly requires studies and experiments.
