Subject I´ve enjoyed studying this semester

  My favorite subject  It's teacher Wilson, the content that we see in the books of the subject is very interesting and important to learn. This subject is basic psychological processes(PPB in spanish), show s us how an action or thought can completely change the psychological health of the person. Our way of relating to others is a double-edged sword. In the class I make notes when the teacher speak, but usually If ocus to whats the teacher explains because the content is in the books of the subject. Is for that, in the subject tha teaches makes us read weekly books. The contents I see in the class is about the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations , the psychological needs that provide well-being , it even teaches how to differentiate if you are having a bad attitude with the others around your. Sigmund Freud Who is an Austrian neurologist of Jewish origin, the father of psychoanalysis and one of the greatest intellectual figures of the 20th century. He worked in a private clinic to treat hysteria using hypnotherapy, but later developed 'free association' and dream interpretation.  Freud was born in 1856 in Príbor, in what is now the Czech Republic. A few years later they moved to Vienna, where he would live most of his life and at whose faculty, despite his family's financial difficulties, he began to study medicine. I like him because the willpower he had to prove he was right is awesome. At least I could notice the amount of people who opposed to Freud in the serie that was on Netflix, where I also realized how incredible his mind is despite being addicted to cocaine. Photograpy I like

The photograpy I like, is very special for me, because we took it before I took the flight to go to Santiago to study, it was a family farewell ( before i knew it would be a virtual year haha). In the photograpy we are: my mother, my sister , my boyfriend and sister´s girlfriend who is a as if she had another older sister( she´s the girl with glasses). I am carrying my dear dog Rabito and with my sister by my side. Behind me is my mother with my boyfriend who is like the child my mother never had. We took photograpy on the beach but where we were against the sun, it couldn´t see the sea but is still very important to me. It very special because it has been a long time since we all took photos together as a family, and for us all to go out. My sister´s girlfriend took a selfie and we came out beautiful.

My favorite piece of technology

  My favorite piece of technology is my iPad,  It is a tablet that allows you to do the same functions as the computer and read more comfortably on a screen. I like it because It is very comfortable to carry because it is light. , besides that it is like a giant cell phone where you can put very nice covers I got this device when I entered at the university, which allowed me to keep up with the virtual classes. I use it to read books on a screen and chek faster the emails. I used it every day , It’s very use full to study . Without this piece of technology, It would cost me much more to be able to read and stand out at the same time, add that many emails could not be seen instantly.

Why did I choose my career?

 Psychologist My dream when I was a child, was to work in a hotel, because I thought they had everything free. When the time came to definitely choose what I wanted, I was choosing to be kindergarten or social work. But as time went by, I realized the interest I had in the brain and how it worked, as well as being able to constantly help people to get ahead.   I feel that the experience has been traumatic because I only know the academic field and nothing else, and knowing that going to university is one of the moments that one remembers the most is a bit disappointing. I would like to work constantly analyzing people through questionnaires or perhaps simply something that constantly requires studies and experiments.

Autobiography My name is Bárbara, I have eighteen years old and I am psychology student. I´m from Iquique, I am born here and to my mind is a beautiful city with beach and nice weather all year. I live with my mother, sister and my dear dog Rabito. I am very crazy, my family says that is why I chose my university career well. Too, I am very sensitive person, and my face says more than 100 words in unpleasant moments . I love go to the swiming pool, I swam since six years old, is part of my life. I don´t like ham, and I´m trying not eat meat, but I keep trying. And finally, I hate online classes.
